Kris Lindsay,
I love Operation Snuggles.  The children of my soldiers are blessed with the love sewn into every quilt.  My sons Charlie and Sam are comforted by the quilts and use them daily.  I’ve watched the time and effort as my wife has made quilts in the past.  It is a labor of love and I thank you for all my troops and their families.  My God bless you all.

Hello Kris,
I just wanted to send a quick note of thanks for the beautiful quilt my little boy received from you and Operation Snuggles. Joey is 4, soon to be 5, and he received a Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtle quilt. He had to sleep with it the very first night!
The thoughtfulness of your gift and your time is very much appreciated.
God bless and Merry Christmas.
Joey and Stacy Kramer

Today I received a beautiful quilt in the mail for my daughter Nora. What a great surprise! She is 14 months old and my husband has been in Iraq since February of 2009. I didn’t even know Operation Snuggle existed so it was quite a surprise to open up the package and see this quilt. My sister said there are no surprises left in life, but this gift from you totally proves her wrong. Thank you so much and have a wonderful Christmas!

Hello,
I would like to extend my deepest gratitude to you and your organization for the beautiful quilt my daughter received today.  Her name is Riley and she will be 4 years old tomorrow.  She was so incredibly excited to get the quilt from “daddy”.  Especially because Daddy knows how much she loves animals and the color pink.  :)
It’s very hard for her to have Dad gone, especially during Christmas time, and the quilt really did help!  She won’t put it down. :)
Again, thank you from the bottom of my heart for your kindness and hard work.  It truly does make a difference.  God bless you and yours during this holiday season.

Sincerely,
Kristy Kelly

I just want to thank you for the wonderful quilt I received for my son, Connor at the Christmas party. We really appreciate you thinking of us while my husband is overseas. The quilt is absolutely adorable. I’m sure Connor will get plenty of use out of it. Thank you again for taking time out of your schedule to make the quilts for the soldiers children. You have such a kind heart and we truly appreciated it.
Have a wonderful holiday and try to stay warm :)

Ms. Lindsay;
I would like to take this opportunity to thank you and your team for their support of our Soldiers and their families.  As a father of three, I know what a comfort a special blanket can be to a child.  I am sure that the children will truly appreciate and cherish their new
blankets.  Especially during the holiday season, the sentiment and support of you and your team will not only be recognized, but remembered.

Please accept and extend my gratitude, and warmest holiday wishes to you and your team as well as all of their families.  Our support networks back home are truly a driving force behind the success of our military.

Alzheimer’s Quilts Remember when some of us made small quilts to donate to the project?  I believe it was summer ‘08, after some instruction from Deb Kinder.  In visiting the website, I learned that our 10 quilts have sold for a total of $454.26.  The top bid was $65, and all postcard size sold for a set $30.  If you want to check it out for yourself, the website is:  www.alzquilts.org/quilts28002899.html Our quilts are numbers 2806 – 2817.

NEWSLETTER ITEMS: Please get to Diane Jordan at 262-338-2418 or e-mail me at dmjquilts@att.net by the weekend before the meeting.  THANK YOU!
