Quilt Show – new for 2012
As an added incentive to guild members, we are offering 2 – $25 gift certificates to area quilt shops through a drawing. Each member will have one chance to win for each item entered in the show. One member suggested that she keeps a list of items completed through the year so she remembers to enter them in the quilt show. Finish those projects – it could send you shopping!!
OPERATION SNUGGLES
Just an update on Snuggles: We are in need of Children’s quilts at the moment. We are in need of large lap or twin size quilts for our wounded warriors.
If you have a quilt kit from Snuggles, would you please finish the quilts and return them over the next few months.
Thank You, Kris Lindsay

The Wisconsin Memorial Quilt Project:
Thank you all for your help over the summer. Our next WI Memorial Quilt work shop will be at the American Legion Post in West Bend on the 4th Wednesday in October. We will not meet in November and December because of the holidays. We will meet in January, February, and March on the 4th Saturday from 9 am – 3 pm. Lunch is provided. Bring your machines or just come and help. There’s a job for everyone! Call Belle if you have any questions. Please continue to make single quilt blocks or gold star quilts for the families of the fallen. Blocks need to be 12 1/2 inches (12 inch finished), and in red, white, and blue materials. Americana is also good. Donations for border and sashing of 1 1/2 yard pieces are always welcome too. Call Belle Wichlacz at 262-335-0318 if you have questions.
