DATES to Remember: There is a quilt show the First weekend in December in Ripon, Wisconsin.  It starts on Friday night, and is also on Saturday and Sunday during the day.  The city of Ripon gets involved, and people dress up like Dicken’s characters.

WQI’s next meeting will be on February 6 and 7.  The meeting will be at WCTC in Pewaukee with Beth Wheeler, Laurie Marquette and Virginia Walton.

The Theme for our quilt show will be fans.  Please share any quilts with fans for the bed peel at the show.  It will be held on May 1 & 2, 2010.
Nov. 21 and Nov. 22 is the It’s a Stitch Craft & Quilt Fair at Heidel’s.  Hours on Saturday are 8:00-4:00 and on Sunday from 10:00 to 4:00.
Alzheimer’s Quilts Remember when some of us made small quilts to donate to the project?  I believe it was summer ‘08, after some instruction from Deb Kinder.  In visiting the website, I learned that our 10 quilts have sold for a total of $454.26.  The top bid was $65, and all postcard size sold for a set $30.  If you want to check it out for yourself, the website is:  www.alzquilts.org/quilts28002899.html Our quilts are numbers 2806 – 2817.

NEWSLETTER ITEMS: Please get to Diane Jordan or e-mail me at dmjquilts@att.net by the weekend before the meeting.  THANK YOU!
