Three Thank You letters…
I just want to thank you for the wonderful quilt I received for my son, Connor at the Christmas party. We really appreciate you thinking of us while my husband is overseas. The quilt is absolutely adorable. I’m sure Connor will get plenty of use out of it. Thank you again for taking time out of your schedule to make the quilts for the soldiers children. You have such a kind heart and we truly appreciated it.
Have a wonderful holiday and try to stay warm ![]()

Ms. Lindsay;
I would like to take this opportunity to thank you and your team for their support of our Soldiers and their families. As a father of three, I know what a comfort a special blanket can be to a child. I am sure that the children will truly appreciate and cherish their new
blankets. Especially during the holiday season, the sentiment and support of you and your team will not only be recognized, but remembered.
Please accept and extend my gratitude, and warmest holiday wishes to you and your team as well as all of their families. Our support networks back home are truly a driving force behind the success of our military.
Sincerely; CSM Jeff Marks

Thank you to Operation Snuggles for the lovely quilts supplied to my little ones. It is such a sweet gesture! The support shown to us from others means so much and I know as my children grow they will not only be overwhelmed by the generosity, but encouraged to share such compassion! Thank you, Kris and your entire Snuggle crew! -Linney Family
DATES to Remember: WQI’s next meeting will be on February 6 and 7. The meeting will be at WCTC in Pewaukee with Beth Wheeler, Laurie Marquette and Virginia Walton. More information can be found at wiquilters.com.
The Theme for our quilt show will be fans. Please share any quilts with fans for the bed peel at the show. It will be held on May 1 & 2, 2010.
Alzheimer’s Quilts Remember when some of us made small quilts to donate to the project? I believe it was summer ’08, after some instruction from Deb Kinder. In visiting the website, I learned that our 10 quilts have sold for a total of $454.26. The top bid was $65, and all postcard size sold for a set $30. If you want to check it out for yourself, the website is: www.alzquilts.org/quilts28002899.html Our quilts are numbers 2806 – 2817.
NEWSLETTER ITEMS: Please get to Diane Jordan or e-mail me at dmjquilts@att.net by the weekend before the meeting. THANK YOU!
